If you still have some freezing nights and didn’t have a chance to play with colourful ice this activity can be right for you. It was fun to prepare it together with kids. The part of exploring and playing was very engaging and filled with lots of discoveries.

It was about 0 C outside these days. Slippery puddles everywhere made it impossible to play or do anything outside. Having no chance to go out doesn’t mean not to have some wintery fun! I scooped some snow from the balcony, put it into the plastic bin and almost two hours of exploring began!

It often happens that the best activities and ideas occur accidentally. It is exactly what happened to me today! I was going to make a fizzy snow with baking soda, but, as it usually happens, I didn’t have enough soda. I used cornstarch instead! And can you believe that it turned into activity, to be precise into a series of activities, which lasted for more than an hour and a half?
